The Akron Symphony returns to Lock 3 for another unforgettable night of music under the stars. This concert features the sophisticated stylings of Akron's own Jack Schantz, renowned jazz trumpet player playing a mix of charts including a premier of Porgy and Bess medley arranged by Paul Ferguson. In addition to Jack's sets the orchestra will play Porter, Arlen, Ellington and our own Gospel Meets Symphony Singers will treat listeners to two favorites from our fantastic GMS collection. Something for everyone, including a fab surprise ending.
