Akron's Affordable Family Friendly Entertainment!

Lock 3 is located next to the Akron Civic Theatre in downtown Akron, Ohio and has hosted more than a million visitors since its opening in 2003, with 250,000 visitors in 2009! 

Each summer Lock 3 features a dynamic variety of entertainment under open skies.

Friday nights the amphitheatre hosts WONE's FREE Admission Rock the Lock Concerts featuring the country's best tribute artists. Saturday brings our Lock 3 Live! Concerts with national touring artists and tributes. And July is HOT! in 2010 with the Annual Rib, White and Blue Festival, Akron's Italian Festival and The National Hamburger Festival.

But the excitement doesn't end when the weather turns windy. From November-January, Lock 3 hosts Ohio's largest seasonal ice-skating rink and the Akron Chriskindl Market. We are currently accepting vendor applications. If you are interested in becoming a vendor, please call (330) 375-2877.
