Lock 4 is an exciting space in Downtown Akron.
The rushing water of the Ohio-Erie Canal creates multiple waterfalls, which, with the historic brick facades of some of the oldest buildings in the city, give the space a distinctly urban feel.
The LockBottom Blues & Jazz Club is "down under" off of Bowery Street, adjacent to Lock 3. Guests can park in the Cascade Parking Garage, which provides direct access to Lock 4 from level two (orange). Entrances are also off Bowery Street and from Lock 3.
New this year to Lock 4 are Gospel Sundays at 5PM from July 28 - September 1.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase in the Peroni Beer Garden during Wednesday night jazz concerts.
Admission to the concerts are free, and are supported by the City of Akron, together with funds from Kenneth L. Calhoun Charitable Trust and the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation.
